If you are playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, you might be wondering where the fishing rod is. While the main objective of the game is to stop Ganondorf from destroying Hyrule, you can also use the Fishing Rod to catch Reekfish. There are two different types of fishing rods: the Bobber Fishing Rod and the Sinking Lure.

Bobber Fishing Rod – This type of rod can be used anywhere. When you find a empty bottle, you can use it as bait. Link can then reel in the fish. You can then pull up the fish by holding down the left analog stick. Once the fish is pulled up, Ula will take it to her house.

Sinking Lure – This type of fishing rod is only accessible if you are without a guide. You can find one by going around the pond.

In order to get a Fishing Hole Pass, you can pay to enter. If you have a boat, you can paddle around the lake. Also, you can find a few small pools of water, isolated from the main lake by a bridge. These are great places for fish to congregate.

Ralis, the prince of Snowpeak, gives a hook to you during the pre-dungeon quest for Snowpeak Ruins. This is your upgrade to the Fishing Rod.

A Coral Earring is another upgrade that can be obtained from Ralis. This can increase the biting rate of all fish. It is also an item that can be used in the Awakening minigame.
