How to Use Boats in Zelda Breath of the Wild

Using boats in Zelda Breath of the Wild is a great way to get across water. In fact, there are rafts all over the map in the game. They are small wooden boats that you can use to travel between islands. Unlike a sailboat, a raft is completely unmanned and lacks oars. However, it does require wind to move.

The best way to maneuver a raft is to generate wind. This requires plenty of effort, but it is a simple way to get a raft moving. Another method involves using a metal weapon. Some modders have used a self-catapulting rock to propel their rafts.

Korok Leaf can also be used to propel a raft. You can obtain a Korok leaf by cutting down a tree. It can then be charged up to create a strong gust of wind.

If you’re interested in rafting, you can take a look at USgamer’s article. Or you can watch a video from YouTube user BeardBear. But you can’t learn to raft in the game by watching a video.

Boat Oars are another option. These are also only available to Link. Although they are a melee weapon, they can also be used as a torch. As long as they are sheathed, they can be used with Two-Handed Weapon moveset. And the base power is only fourteen.

You can also find a time boat in the Lanayru Desert in the Skyward Sword HD version. This can be useful during the Ghost Rider quest, when you need to collect 30 Cursed Pumpkins.
