How to Make a Sheik Costume – Zelda’s Alter-Ego

Sheik is the alter-ego of Princess Zelda. Although this is not true, she appears as Sheik in The Legend of Zelda. Her moveset is different from that of her counterpart, but both characters are capable of sharing the Final Smash.

During her first appearance in Ocarina of Time, Sheik disguised herself as Princess Zelda to protect her identity from the forces of Ganondorf. In the Hyrule Warriors story, when Zelda goes missing, Sheik comes to help Link.

Sheik is a fast, nimble, and agile fighter. A combination of her speed and a gravity that helps her mobility, makes her one of the fastest players in the game.

One of her most notable flaws is her lack of a knockout attack. However, she does have an amazing recovery. When she takes a hit, she regains most of her health.

Sheik’s attacks are based more on ninja moves, than magic. Sheik’s bow of light is more powerful than that of Zelda. Moreover, Sheik’s arrow can break shields and hurt all enemies that are in its path.

Sheik can also wall-jump. However, the gravity makes her vulnerable to horizontal knockback. This can make it harder to rack up damage.

Sheik’s Special Attack creates a large wave of notes on opponents. Bystanders take damage as well. Interestingly, her Special Attack Gauge is fully recharged if she is standing in the Prelude of Light.

Sheik also features an up taunt. However, its duration has been reduced to eliminate the risk of flipping.
