How to Get More Hearts in Zelda: Breath of the Wild

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one of the best open world games I’ve ever played. While it may be difficult to earn as many hearts as you would like, it’s also not impossible. There are several methods you can use to acquire more heart containers.

One method is to take on the four Green Goriyas that are found in Turtle Rock. Each of the Green Goriyas will open a door to a Heart Piece. This can be freed with a Beetle.

Another way to earn hearts is to shoot pumpkins. These are located in several locations. If you are lucky enough, you can also find a Heart Container while shooting pumpkins.

Aside from these methods, there are also Goddess Statues that you can obtain in the game. They will give you a Heart Container and Stamina Vessel when you choose them as your reward. You will need Spirit Orbs to exchange for these items.

If you are unable to get a Heart Container, you can try to convert your Fairy Bottles into a Heart Container. Fairies will usually heal 10 hearts of health, so you can save yourself by placing the Fairies inside the bottles. Alternatively, you can buy Blue Candles from various stores.

Some of the dungeons are also worth looking for Heart Containers. For example, the Seventh Dungeon contains a Red Candle that you can use more than once per screen load. Likewise, the Turtle Rock dungeon has a balcony in the Light World that you can enter.
