The Wind Waker Tingle Tuner
If you have a Nintendo Gameboy Advance and a Nintendo Gamecube Gameboy Advance link cable, you can get some help from Tingle to assist you through the Wind Waker. He can help find special items and help you find your way through dungeons.
Using the Tingle Tuner
Tingle is locked in a jail cell in Windfall Island. You must free him in order to recieve the Tuner. To use it, connect the Gameboy Advance to the Gamecube using the special cable, then use the Tuner as you would any other item. The player holding the GBA can control Tingle as Link moves around the world. Tingle can find hidden items, attack enemies, point out important information, and perform a few special moves.
L Button
The L button will allow you to check the current map.
R Button
The R button will allow you to lock on to Link.
B Button
Call and check in.
A Button
The A button allows you to use an item you've selected.
Start
Pressing start allows you to view the subscreen.

Control Pad
The control pad is used to move your character.
Tingle has quite a few tricks up his sleeve and isn't completely defenseless. For most of Tingle's special moves, you will have to pay a small fee, but the results can be well worth their charge.
Seagull Pen
Cost - 0 Rupees
Tingle used the Seagull pen to draw his first map when he was a little boy. You can use the pen to mark areas and direct Link to them.
Tingle Bomb
Cast - 10 Rupees
Each of the main dungeons has an area that you can access only with a Tingle Bomb. Tingle Bombs also function like Link's in game bombs.
Tingle Balloon
Cast - 30 Rupees
There's nothing Tingle likes better than sailing through the air with his red balloon. Tingle can loan it to Link so he can cross large gaps, and will last for five seconds.
Tingle Shield
Cast - 50 Rupees
The Tinlge Shield works just like the magic armor, protecting Link from damage from all but the toughest of foes. The shield will last for five seconds.
Kooloo-Limpah
Cost - 40 Rupees
Kooloo-Limpah has one of four effects. It either refills Links health and magic meters, gives Link a 20 second shield, gives Link a 20 second shield and balloon, or does nothing at all.

The red guide book is a large tome choked full of hints, tips, tricks, and instructions for all things Tingle related.
Hand Me Down Tingle Tuner
Cast - 0 Rupees
If you compelte Knuckle's Outset Island challenge, he will give you the handme down Tingle Tuner. If will allow you to buy items from Knuckle while you're at sea or in dungeons.
Red Ting / Green Ting / Blue Ting
Cast - 20 / 40 / 80 Rupees
Tingle can bring Link Red, Green, and Blue potions known as Tings. The work like the real deal, but are less as effective.
