Twilight Princess Heart Pieces

Location : Forest Temple
Prerequisites : Gale Boomerang
Details : From the entrance, head north through a door to the compass room, the head right to the far room where a monkey was.  Creatures are under the floor tiles, so put all the torches out with the Gale Boomerang to drop the stairs. You will find the heart piece in a chest behind the staircases.

Details : Head back a room and you can find another heart piece. Grab the nearby exploding enemy and toss it into the man-eating plants mouth.  It will explode, opening a path to a treasure chest.

Prerequisites : Beaten Goron Mines
Details : After clearing out Goron Mines, head back to the ranch at Ordon Village during the daytime. Call Epona and talk to Fado for a goat herding challenge in which you can win a heart piece.

Location : Ordon Woods
Prerequisites : Bombs, Dominion Rod
Details : North of Coro's Shack is a giant boulder, blast it.  Use the dominion rod on the statue and drop it in the shallow hole.  Turn into a Wolf and use Midna to hop ontop of it and follow a path to a chest.

Location : Faron Woods
Prerequisites : Lantern
Details : Beyond the poisonous fog of Faron Woods is a cave in the northwest.  Light the two torches here to make a piece of heart appear.

Location : Eldin Province
Prerequisites : Spinner
Details : In northern Eldin Province, on the east side of the bridge that spans the hidden gulch, use the Spinner on the north walls track.  After you reach a lower ledge, dig into a cavern.  Destroy the three skeletons here for your treasure.

Prerequisites : Dominion Rod and Eldin Bridge
Details : You must first retrieve the bridge from Gerudo Desert.  Use the dominion rod to guide a nearby statue from the northern side to the southern side, and drop it into an alcove to the east.  Use it to cross a gap and up a ladder.

Location : Kakariko Village
Prerequisites : Defeated Goron Mines, Hero's Bow
Details : After clearing out Goron Mines, find the Goron in the Northern side.  Get a boost from him and climb the tower to find Talo.  He will challenge you to an arrow shooting challenge, so shoot a pole at the top of the tower on the south end for your prize.

Location : Kakariko Village
Prerequisites : Bombs, Iron Boots, Zora Tunic
Details : At the south side of the village, west of the Spirit Spring, you will find a huge boulder.  Destroy it with your bombs and use the Iron Boots in the waters to find a chest.

Prerequisites : Bombs, Gale Boomerang, Hero's Bow
Details : Above the boulder you bombed for the last piece is a group of boulders to the top of the cliff.  Use your bomb arrow to destroy them.  Use the Gale Boomerang to retrieve this piece.

Details : Once you've donated 1,000 rupees to Malo's shop to rebuild a bridge, talk to the funny painted elder outside the shop.  He will challenge you to bring spring water to a Goron.  Zigzag through the enemies and douse the Goron for your prize.

Location : Death Mountain
Prerequisites : None
Details : You can find a Goron between the Goron camp and Kakariko Village.  Use it to boost you to a ledge and keep climbing.  Drop into a cave for your heart piece.

Location : Goron Mines
Prerequisites : Iron Boots
Details : Shortly after speaking with Gor Amoto, you will find yourself in a room walking on the ceiling.  Find your way to the northeaster corner where there is a small alcove and a chest with your heart piece.

Details : Two rooms north of the far southeastern most room of the second floor holds another heart piece.  Use the magnetic track on the east wall and follow it to a chest.

Location : Lanayru Province
Prerequisites : Bombs, Spinner
Details : A path in the far eastern section of Lanayru is blocked by boulders.  Use the spinner to follow the track after blowing up the rocks, to a ledge that holds a heart piece.

Location : Lake Hylia
Prerequisites : Lantern, Clawshot
Details : There is a room behind Lanayru's spirit spring which you can reach by grappling the ivy with the clawshot.  Light the torches here and a chest will appear.

Details : Plumm will challenge you to a balloon popping challenge on the west side.  All you have to do is score 10,000 points (see Mini Games ).

Details : Take Fyers flight to get to Falbi's Flight by Fowl challenge.  Grab a cuccoo and head straight for the southwest platforms.  The top stationary platform holds a piece.

Details : In a room just west of the main chamber room on the first floor you can find a heart.  Make sure the water is flowing west first.  Cross the bridge to the south and stand on the switch.  Take aim with the clawshot and grapple to the wall with a chest.

Details : After you obtain the clawshot, return to the central circular room.  Grapple to the chandelier in the room to find a chest.

Location : Lantern Cavern 1

Details : Southwest of Kakariko Gorge bridge, bomb the giant boulder.  Light two torches in the cave's northwest section to make a chest appear.

Details : South of Lake Hylia's windstone is a road blocked cave.  Destroy the block and venture inside.  Make your way to the last chamber and light the two torches here.

Location : Gerudo Desert

Details : You will find a boar hanging to be cooked in the northwest corner of the enemy camp.  Spin attack to remove the embers here and cut open the boar with your sword for a heart piece.

Location : Arbiter's Grounds
Prerequisites : Clawshot
Details : Travel to the northwest corner of the Arbiter's Grounds central chamber.  Use to clawshot to get across the sinking sand and to a chest.

Details : In the basements northeast corner, after you get the spinner, ride the track on the wall to reach a chest.

Prerequisites : Defeated Snowpeak Ruins
Details : After getting the second mirror shard return to the top of snowpeak for a friendly race with the Yeti's.  See also Mini Games .

Details : On the second floor of the foyer, hit the north chandelier with your ball and chain to get it swinging.  Hop onto it and to the two chandeliers to the south.  There is a chest on the south ledge.

Details : In the southwest corner of the second level, you will find cracks in the floor.  Use a bomb or the ball and chain to blow it out.  Drop down for your chest.

Details : On your way back to the temples main door, with the dominion rod and a statue under control, you'll advance through a fifth floor room with sliding walls, an electric barrier and a treasure.  Guide the statue to the switch.

Details : On the south end of the fifth floor's south room, on your way back to the main door, use the dominion rod to guide two small statues along the eastern and western paths.  Hav them both hit the switches.

Details : Head to the Temple of Time's main room and use the dominion rod to move the statue that is embedded in the wall of the southwest corner.  He will reveal a passage.

Details : After defeating the large plant on the first floor of the east wing, grapple to the second floor.  Head counterclockwise around the room and to a ledge and heart piece.

Details : There is a piece of heart in the chamber filled with flying plants on the east wing's third floor.  Take the northwest exit from the chamber then grapple from plant to plant to reach the southern balcony.

Details : Once you've obtained the Light Sword return tothe east wing.  Use the sword to cut through the fog on the east wall of the southeast room and grapple to the chest.

Details : Head off to the west wing once you've obtained the Light Sword.  Cut through the fog to make a platform appear in the southern corner of the pit, which will carry you to the chest.

Details : Travel south through a cave in Eldin Province's northeast corner to find the hidden village.  Crash through a window on the west side to reach the cuccoo leader.  Take her challenge adn speak to 20 cats for a heart piece.

Details : On the east road you will find a man wearing a green robe. Donate a total of 1,000 rupees and he will hand over a heart piece.

Location : Sacred Grove
Prerequisites : Bombs
Details : Travel east of the temple grounds to an area where you fought a skull kid.  Blow up the boulder and dig there.  Destroy the plants for your prize.

Location : Hyrule Field
Prerequisites : Gale Boomerang
Details : Head to the south end of the bridge in the middle of Hyrule Field.  You will see a heart piece in a tree nearby, which you can retrieve with the Gale Boomerang.

Details : Look for a large rock formation that towers over the east end of Kakariko Gorge.  Use the Gale Boomerang to retrieve it from the top.

Details : Travel north of Kakariko Village and bomb the block on the paths west side.  Follow the path and use a bomb arrow to destroy some rocks and climb a vine to reach a piece.

Details : Once you've obtained the double clawshot, head to the southeast sectio of Kakariko Gorge and hit a grappling point in the middle of a large formation.  Grapple to a southern cliff and to vines on a smaller formation.  Climb up to your heart piece.

Prerequisites : Bombs, Ball and Chain
Details : In an area north of Hyrule Castle, take the northern rocky path until you reach a clearing with a west facing cave blocked by a boulder.  Destroy it and the wall of ice with the ball and chain.  Past three block pushing puzzles you will get a heart piece.

Location : Fishing Hole
Prerequisites : None
Details : Talk to Hena to rent a canoe and reel.  Make your way out to the middle of the pond and grab your heart piece with the fishing rod.
