Twilight Princess Golden Bugs
There are a total of 24 Golden Bugs to find throughout your adventure. Once you collect a Golden bug, it will be recorded into your Golden Bug chart. You can turn them in to Agitha for handsome rewards! Once you have collected your first bug, give it to Agitha for the big wallet, which holds 600 rupees. Once you return all 24 Golden Bugs to Agitha, you will receive the Giant Wallet, which can hold 1,000 Rupees.
- Male Ant : You can find the ant in the graveyard on the west side of the village. Look in the back near a tree.
- Female Ant : You can find this ant in a house in Kakariko Village on the west side.
- Male Mantis : You'll fnid this at the North end of the Great Bridge of Hylia. Use the Gale Boomerang if it's out of reach.
- Female Mantis : South of the Great Bridge of Hylia you will find giant tree roots atop a rocky path. She is hiding in the southern end high up.
The Butterfly's of Hyrule Field, Lanayru
- Mael Butterfly : Travel south from the east entrance to Castle Town. You'll reach a path, and the buttefly is in a patch of flowers nearby.
- Female Butterfly : From Castle Town's east entrance, follow the path to an ivy covered ledge. Use your clawshot to reach the top and you will find the insect.
The Phasmid's of Hyrule Field, Eldin
- Male Phasmid: At the south end of Eldin bridge, you'll find the bug inside the arch (usually). Use the Gale Boomerang to catch him.
- Female Phasmid : North of Eldin bridge, is a cliff wall. Use the boomerang to snatch her off.
- Male Dayfly : You'll find this guy in the south cenral area of Gerudo Desert. There is a small gated alcove, and the bug is just north of that.
- Female Dayfly : West of the warp portal and south of the enemy camp you will run into trenches in the ground. You'll find the female in one of these.
The Stag Beetles of Hyrule Field, Lanayru
- Male Stag Beetle : In the east side of Hrule field you can find this guy in a tree. The tree can be found by taking the road North from Castle Town's entrance and it on your right as you reach the bridge.
- Female Stag Beetle : There is a rocky region north of the river. Take the southern fork where the path splits and you will find a bombable cave.
The Ladybug's of Hyrule Field, Lanayru
- Male Ladybug: There is a small field south of Castle Town. He will be near the ivy covered rock formation.
- Female Ladybug : In the courtyard south of Castle Town, east of the decorative pool, there is a blue rail you can find her nearby.
The Grasshoppers of Hyrule Field, Eldin
- Male Grasshopper : Head North from Kakariko Village towards Hyrule Field and you will find him in a patch of dirt. Use the Gale Boomerang to catch him easily.
- Female Grasshopper : You will find her north of Kakariko Village. She is easier to spot at night.
The Beetles of Hyrule Field, Faron
- Male Beetle : This bug is in a tree in the center of Hyrule Field near Faron between two hills.
- Female Beetle : This beetle is found in the far west side of Hyrule Field near Faron Province. Shes on a tree trunk across from the pond.
The Pill Bugs of Kakariko Gorge
- Male Pill Bug : There is a golden glow near the south end of Kakariko Gorge bridge, and that is your bug.
- Female Pill Bug: Head southwest from the bridge and you will find her in a flower bed near trees.
The Snails of the Sacred Grove
- Male Snail: Go to the entrance of the Sacred Grove near the moving statue puzzleand there is an alcove in the southwest. The snail is there.
- Female Snail : From the Sacred Grove, enter the door that takes you to the Temple of Time and head downstairs. Head to the southwest corner and claim your bug.
