Twilight Princess Characters
Here, you will find a small guide to the many characters present in Twilight Princess. Many of these characters hold an important role in the game, so it is important you meant with each.
| Zant was driven mad when the Twilit King refused to name him as his successor. He pleaded to the gods for power, and and his evil wishes were answered... but not by the gods. Ganondorf posed as a god and granted Zant powers beyond those of the Twili to help aid in his excape from the Twilight Realm. Zant used the powers to curse Midna and cast her from the Realm, in turn becoming the King of Shadows. |
| Midna was the princess of the Twilight Realm. When Zant was granted powers by Ganondorf, he cursed Midna and cast her from the Twilight Realm. She is scornful towards Zant and the evil forces in Hyrule. She proves to be the most powerful ally Link could have. |
| Zelda is the soon to be Queen of Hyrule. Her kingdom was taken by the King of Shadow, who in exchange for the lives of her people, was banished to her castle. Princess Zelda is brave and confident, even through troubled times. She also retains powers granted to her by the goddesses of Hyrule. |
| Link is a wrangler in Ordon Village, a small town in Ordon Woods. Link is often astonished by Ilia, the village Mayor's daughter. Living in a small, quiet village, Link often finds himself the amusement to the children of the village, and a good helping hand all around. |
| In areas afflicted by shadow and Twilight, the Tears of Shadow are in the form of bugs. Because the Light spirit no longer has them, everything in the area is in the shape of spirits of has turned evil. Because Link was chosen by the gods, he is turned into a blue eyed beast, a Wolf. Once you return the Tears of Light in an area, you will no longer be Wolf Link. |
Collin
Collin is a blonde haired boy infactuated with being just like Link when he grows up. He lives in Ordon Village, but is later captured by a large beast on the back of a Wild Hog, whom you must rescue on Horseback.
Ordon Mayor
The mayor of Ordon Village is a large man and father of Ilia. In the beginning of the game, he walks around with a sword, which you later 'borrow'. He teaches you a very secretive trick later in the game and gives you a very valuable item.
Epona
You can choose what to name your horse in the beginning of the game. Epona is your horse. You use her to get around quicker than on foot and to herd goats with.
Gor Coron
Gor Coron is one of the Goron elders whom you must wrestle before you can enter Goron Mines.
Gor Amoto
Gor Amoto is one of the four Goron Elders.
Gor Ebizo
Another one of the four Goron elders.
Darbus
Darbus is the Goron tribal patriarch, and is earlier consumed by the evil shadow in the land. (See also, Boss Guides, Twilt Ignitus Fyrus ).
