Legend of Zelda Heart Containers
There are several heart containers floating around in the Legend of Zelda, and are an integral part of helping you stay alive throughout your adventure. Here, we provide a comprehensive list for the locations of all the heart containers found in the Legend of Zelda.
First Quest Heart Containers
- Four screens east of where you begin, there's a bombble wall right before the gap on the northern part of the screen. Bomb it to reveal a cave.
- On the very eastern edge of Hyrule, three screens from the very bottom is a platform in the ocean with a heart container on it. You must have the Stepladder to reach it.
- Two screens up from the heart container above is a platform. You gotta use the raft to bring you to a secret cave that looks like a dungeon entrance. Enter to find your heart.
- Just south of Level 1 is a burnable bush. It should be the fifth from the right.
- Directly north of Level 2 and east of the desert is a circular rock. Bomb the front of it to uncover a secret entrance.
- Defeat Each Boss to gain a heart container.
Second Quest Heart Containers
- One screen north of Level 6, the top left screen in the graveyard. Push the second grave from the left in the middle row with the Power Bracelet. A secret cave will appear which contains a heart container.
- On the very eastern edge of Hyrule, three screens from the very bottom is a platform in the ocean with a heart container on it. You must have the Stepladder to reach it.
- Two screens up from heart container 2 is a platform for you to use your Raft on. It will bring you to a secret cave that appears to be a level. It's a cave that contains a heart container.
- West of Level 3, in the bottom left corner of the desert. Play the Recorder to reveal a hidden cave with a heart container inside.
- On Death Mountain, a few screens west of the Magical Sword is an orange rock. Push it with the Power Bracelet to reveal a cave that has a heart container inside.
- Defeat Each Boss To Gain A Heart Container.
