The Minish Cap Items
The Minish Cap featured many new items and weapons never before seen in any Zelda game, many of which are hidden throughout the lands and dungeons. This guide will help you obtain each item and give you a better description as to what the item does.
Smith's Sword
You will get this sword in the beginning of the game. It isn't very strong, and will get upgraded as you progress.
White Sword
Once you get the Picori Blade forged, you can use this. It can also be infused with other powers (see below).
Earth & Fire
This will allow you to clone yourself on certain tiles and is obtained after the Elemental Sanctuary.
Earth, Fire & Water
This will allow you to clone yourself twice on certain tiles and is obtained after the Temple of Droplets.
Earth, Fire, Water & Wind
This will allow you to clone yourself three times on certain tiles. This, is the four sword!
Shield
Zelda will win this at the festival and give it to you. How nice.
Mirror Shield
After you complete the Biggoron quest, you will be granted this. It is alot better, and will create a deflection wave when you deflect objects.
Gust Jar
Once obtained, the gust jar can be used to such objects in, or shoot them out, as well as propel yourself on certain objects. You can suck away sections of ground in certain areas to reveal secrets.
Boomerang
You will obtain this handy item from Stockwell's. It works like in most other Zelda games.
Magical Boomerang
This upgrade will allow you to throw your boomerang in diagonal directions.
Bombs
Bombs are very useful. You can blow holes in walls, floors, and destroy enemies and objects with them.
Bow / Arrows
The bow can be found in Castor Wilds. It is used to shoot enemies and objects from a distance. There is also an upgrade to your arrows, called the...
Light Arrows
The light arrows make another return. You can obtain these in the Gregal and Ghost sidequest.
Bottles
These are used to hold items and objects in.
Mole Mitts
The Mole Mitts can be found in the Fortress of Winds. They are used to dig through sand and the special looking doors you find around the game.
Pegasus Boots
Another returned item. These boots will allow you to run at fast speeds. You can crash into objects to make special things happen, such as the glistening tress.
Ocarina of Wind
With this, you will be able to call a bird to carry you away, much like in A Link to the Past.
Roc's Cape
This item will give Link the ability to jump. It is found in the Palace of Winds. Use it to leap gaps and other obstacles.
Cane of Pacci
Defeat the miniboss in the Cave of Flames to earn this useful tool. You can build up magical energy in holes to use to leap up really high. You can also flip various objects over.
Flame Lantern
This is used like all other lanterns. Use it to light torches, and to melt ice. You will obtain it in the Temple of Droplets.
Jabber Nut
With this, you can now understand the Minish Language. It is obtained early in the game.
EZLO
You will find this guy early in the game in Deepwood. Once you save him, he will help you out when needed by pressing select.
Kinstone Bag
This will allow you to hold Kinstone Pieces.
Kinstone Pieces
These can be found all over. You can fuse your pieces with other people to find secrets in Hyrule. Refer to the Kinstone Fusion guide.
Tiger Scrolls
Once you learn certain techniques, you will be awarded a tiger scroll. You can view them in the sub screen.
Bomb Bag
Bomb bags are used to hold bombs. Simple enough?
Flippers
Once obtained, these will give Link the ability to swim. Now, you wont drown in drops of water and puddles as Minish Link!
Power Bracelet
The power bracelet will give Link super strength so he can lift heavy objects. On Mt. Crenel, there is a scrub that is selling this. You need it to climb.
Mt. Crenel Mineral Water
You can get yourself some of this wonderous water at teh swamps of Mt. Crenel. Some species of plant will only grow with this water.
