Majora's Mask Items

There are many items and weapons to aquire throughout your adventure in Majora's Mask. The more weapons and items you obtain, the more your chance of survival incrases. Use this guide to find each item and weapon and to learn a little more about it.

Kokiri Sword Kokiri Sword
You begin the game with this sword. Does it look familiar? It seems you carried this over from Ocarina of Time.

Razor Sword Razor Sword
The Razor Sword is alot stronger than your Kokiri Sword. After you defeat Snowhead temple, take this to the smiths in Mountain Village. They will forge it for you and now it will no longer break after 100 swings.

Fairy Sword Great Fairies Sword
This sword is unlike any other in the game. It is extremely powerful, and is obtained after collecting all the stray fairies in Stone Tower Temple. It is used as a C Button item and you cannot use your shield with it.

Guilded Sword Sword
This is a very strong sword. First, get the Razor Sword then go win the Goron races. Once you get the Gold Dust take it to the smiths and they will construct this for you.

Heros Shield Hero's Shield
You begin the game with this shield.

Mirror Shield
This shield is found in the Well in Ikana Canyon. It is used primarily to deflect light. It works like your normal Hero's Shield, yet protects against magic and stronger attacks.

Bow Bow & Arrows
This weapon is found after you defeat the mini-boss of Woodfall Temple. They can be used to hit switches, distant enemies, and various other targets.

Bombchu Bombchu
These can be purchased from various shops around Termina, including the bomb shop of Clocktown. Once you set one down, you can control where it goes and when it explodes, as long as it doesn't hit anything first. These are very useful if you know how to use them to your advantage.

Bombs Bombs
Bombs can be found all over Termina, or bought in shops. They can be used to blow up rocks, secret passages, and even enemies and switches.

Fire Arrow Fire Arrows
After beating Wizrobe for the first time, these will appear. They do good damage to enemies made of ice, and can be used to melt various things.

Hookshot Hookshot
At Gerudo lagoon you will watch a cutscene of some Gerudo talking about a missing egg. There is a beehive which you must shoot with an arrow to cause the Gerudo to run away. Open the chest. The hookshot will allow you to pull yourself to certain targets, and even freeze or destroy enemies.

Lens Truth Lens of Truth
At Goron Shrine, follow the feathers dropped by the owl on the invisible platforms. Go into the cave. This will allow Link to see hidden objects in the game, such as platforms and treasure chests. Who knows, you might even be able to see the dead...

Ocarina of Time Ocarina of Time
On day three, you can get ontop of the clocktower to fight the Skull Kid. You will retrieve your ocarina, and use it to go back to day one. The Ocarina is used for various purposes. Most importantly, returning to the first day when you start running out of time.

Pictobox Pictobox
After you have healed Kotake with the red potion, go to the hut in the beginning of the swamps. Talk to Kotake and she will give you the pictobox. It can be used to take pictures of anything. You can return to this hut to sell the pictures later.

Powder Keg Powder Keg
This giant keg is filled with explosives. You must carry it with Goron Link. It can be used to destroy large boulders that block the entrance to certain areas. Your first will be free.

Adult Wallet
This wallet will allow you to carry at maximum, 200 rupees. To obtain this very useful upgrade, simply deposit 200 rupees into the bank.

Bomb Bag
The bomb bag will allow you to carry bombs. You can buy this from the bomb shop for a mere 40 rupees.

Bombers Notebook
You will obtain this logbook after playing Hide and Seek with the Bomber gang in Clocktown. Find all the kids, and you are in. There are various side quests to be done, and will be recorded into the notebook automatically.

 

Bottle Bottles
Bottles are located all over Termina. You can use them to contain many things, such as gold dust and potions. Here is where each can be found. We have a guide to obtaining the six bottles.

Chateau Romani
This special produce will give you infinite amount of magic, but only for a short period of time. It is rather expensive, and can be purchased from the Milk Bar.

Child's Wallet
You begin the game with this wallet. It allows you to hold only 99 rupees max. You can receive an upgrade by depositing 200 rupees in the bank.

Stray Fairy Dungeon Fairies
Each dungeon contains 15 stray fairies. Collect all stray fairies from each dungeon and return them to the Great Fairy fountain for a reward.

Fish
You can find fish in shallow water and bottle them up. They really have no good use besides selling them.

Giant Wallet
This wallet is slightly tougher to get than the Adult Wallet. First, deposit 500 rupees to the bank. Secondly, you must destroy and collect the tokens from the second Spider House on day one. The Giants Wallet will allow you to carry a maximum of 500 rupees.

Hot Water
Once you have the Goron Mask, head off to Goron Shrine. Pull the large tombstone back and the spring will fill up. This water can be used to melt ice. It will loose its heat soon after you collect it, so hurry!

Magic Bean Magic Beans
These beans can be planted in dirt patches to make a magical plant platform grow. You will need to water if first, however. You can buy these from a magic bean salesman all around Termina.

Quiver
This will come with the Hero's Bow. It allows you to carry arrows.

Green Potion
This potion is relativly cheap, and will restore Link's magic.

Red Potion
The red potion can be bought in several shops. It will allow Link to heal his life.
