Majora's Mask Controls

Majora's Mask had the same basic control scheme as Ocarina of Time, with very little changes. Incase you have lost your manual or are interesting in learning more about the control setup for Majora's Mask, here is a small guide detailing the control setup for Majora's Mask.

Control Pad
The control pad, unlike in the other games and systems, is used to show or hide the map.

Analog Stick
Depending on the direction you press depends on which direction Link moves. You will need to get used to using the analog stick if you want to master movements, defensively and offensively.

C-Buttons
You can assign items to these buttons. When pressed, you can use that item. These buttons are also used to play notes on the ocarina.

B Button
When pressed, this will cause Link to swing his sword to attack. In combination with the analog stick, it will cause different attacks.

A Button
When pressed, this will allow you to perform various actions, like rolling and playing the Ocarina.

R Button
When pressed, this will cause Link to hold out his shield.

L Button
When pressed, this will allow Link to target items and objects. It can also be used to make your view face forward.
