Daira
Category - Enemy
About - These creepy crawlers were found in A Link to the Past, in the Dark World. They shot fireballs at you as their primary attack, and came in several colors.
Daria
Category - Enemy
About - Daria were seen in the Adventure of Link. These dinocreatures carried axes and liked hand to hand combat. They could be a pain when in numbers, if ever crossed paths in numbers.
Dark Dragon
Category - Enemy ( Boss )
About - This is a boss found in Oracle of Seasons, and what a pain he is. Your main target will be the gem on its head. Good luck. Refer to the boss guide in the Oracle of Seasons section.
Dark Link
Category - Enemy ( Boss )
About - We've seen dark Link twice. The first appearance was in the Adventure of Link, and the second in Ocarina of Time. Dark Link was Link's opposite, who had good skills in offensive attacks as well as defensive arts. Dark Link just may have been Link's biggest challenge.
Darknut
Category - Enemy
About - Darknut was an enemy found in the original Legend of Zelda. This armored knight strut around the room, and was a pain in numbers. He carried a shield to defend against Links attacks, so you had to attack from the side or behind.
Dark Octorok
Category - Enemy
About - The Dark Octorok was an enemy found in A Link to the Past. They took the place of the regular Octoroks found in the Light World. These guys fire rocks from their snouts as there primary attacks.
Dead Hand
Category - Enemy
About - You would find these pain in the you know whats in Ocarina of Time. The hands emerged from the ground, and when Link approached, would grab him by his head. The main enemy would then surface. To destroy it, attack the head.
Dead Rock
Category - Enemy
About - These were found in A Link to the Past. You could find them on Death Mountain. Once hit, these guys would turn to stone. Use the magic powder or quake to turn them into a destroyable enemy.
Deeler
Category - Enemy
About - Deeler were seen in the Adventure of Link. These creatures resembled spiders. They hung from the trees, and once Link got close, would make a surprize drop down onto him.
Deku Baba
Category - Enemy
About - These were found in Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask. They would sprout from the ground and eventually stop moving to attack you. Cut it inhalf at the stem.
Deku Nut
Category - Item / Weaponry
About - This weapon was first obtainable in Ocarina of Time. When used, it caused a quick flash that could freeze certain enemies and knock things down.
Deku Scrub
Category - Enemy
About - This is a common enemy in the later Zelda games. These plantlike creatures would fire rocks from their snout, much like octoroks. You could deflect these back at them with your shield to draw them out of their pods.
Deku Shield
Category - Item / Weaponry
About - The Deku Shield was an item obtained in Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask. The deku shield was a cheap wooden shield that could deflect weaker hard projectile attacks. Its downside was that it could be burnt away by fire.
Deku Seeds
Category - Item / Weaponry
About - This item was found in Ocarina of Time. It was used as ammo for the Fairy Slingshot. It could damage all sorts of enemies, as well as hit targets that performed an action once hit.
Deku Stick
Category - Item / Weaponry
About - This weapon was first featured in Ocarina of Time. It could be used to light torches and to attack enemies with. It however, would break on contact.
Dethyl
Category - Enemy ( Boss )
About - Dethyl was the boss in Link's Awakening. He was a shadow nightmare with two long arms, and an eye in the center. He could be a pain. Refer to Links Awakening section.
Digdogger
Category - Enemy ( Boss )
About - This guy was featured in the Original Legend of Zelda. He was invunerable to Links attacks, until he is weakened by the sound of the Flute. Only then can he be destroyed.
Dinolfos
Category - Enemy
About - This enemy was featured in a few Zelda games, such as Ocarina of Time. These lizard like creatures had good skill with sword and shield. You must wait for them to attack and block it, to spring up and get a good hit in.
Din's Fire
Category - Item / Weaponry
About - Din's Fire was a gift from a great fairy in Ocarina of Time. When this magic was cast, it caused a whirling fire attack to damage most anything on screen. This is very handy for use in rooms with multiple enemies and on Iron Knuckles.
Dodongo
Category - Enemy ( Boss )
About - Dodongo's are a common enemy to the series. These hard skinned dino creatures are vunerable to bombs. In the original series, you had to lay a bomb for it to eat. In Ocarina of Time, you threw bombs into King Dodongo's mouth, and could attack the tails of the smaller ones.
Doll
Category - Item
About - Dolls were first seen in the Adventure of Link. Many were scattered around the world, and when collected, would add 1 to your life.
Doomknocker
Category - Enemy
About - These tough enemies were found in the Adventure of Link. They are armored and very strong, and would throw clubs as their primary attack.
Duck Beast
Category - Enemy
About - Duck Beast was an enemy in A Link to the Past. They could be found in the artic temple, level 5, of the Dark World. They looked like a mix between penguins and ducks, and would slide across the floor to attack you.
