A Link to the Past Bottles
Bottles are an important part of your inventory in A Link to the Past, but like most items, they are hidden somewhere throughout the world of Hyrule. Bottles can store important items such as potions and even things such as bugs!
Bottle #1
The first bottle you will encounter is bought in Kakariko Village. Just west of the compass statue in the middle of Kakariko Village is a man sitting on a carpet with jars next to him. He will see you a bottle for 100 rupees.
Bottle #2
Your second bottle is also located in Kakariko Village, in the bar at the southern end of the village. There are two entrances to this building, and to get to the chest with the bottle in it you will need to enter through the southern entrance (there's a gap in the green fence where the door will be).
Bottle #3
The third bottle is located under the bridge one screen to the east of Link's house and you will need the flippers first (500 rupees). There are two ways to get this bottle. You can use the magic mirror from the Dark World to reach this mirror easily, or you can swim up the bridge. From the bridge, head east and south until you reach a ramp leading into the water. Follow it into the water and swim north and under the bridge. Walk up to the sleeping man and he will give you the bottle.
Bottle #4
After you have the tempered sword this bottle becomes attainable. In the Dark World, head to where the Smithies used to be. There is a chest laying inside the ruined old house. Walk up to it and it will follow you around. Head down the stairs and into the village, then warp back to the light world. Head to Link's house and head south and towards the desert. Just inside the path leading to the desert is a man. Speak to him and promise not to tell anyone and he will open the chest, giving you your fourth bottle.
